Skin Quality Is Texture, Tone, and Comfort
Quality is how the surface behaves in daylight. It is not a younger birthday.

Anti-aging became a slogan that asked skin to impersonate a younger year. Quality is a more usable standard because you can see it without a fantasy. Texture is whether the surface is rough, flaking, or congested. Tone is whether color is even or blotched. Comfort is whether the face stings, feels tight, or tolerates a normal day. Improve those and the face looks better at its actual age. That is the result. A different age is not on offer.
The tools match the standard. Sunscreen protects tone. A short routine protects comfort. Measured exfoliation, when the barrier allows, refines texture. A facial can help each of those for a while and then hand the job back to the week. Chasing lines in isolation, while the barrier is angry, usually worsens all three.
Judge a product or a treatment by which of the three it was hired for, a month later, in daylight. If you cannot name the change in texture, tone, or comfort, you bought a story. Quality is specific. It does not need a younger photograph to be real.
