One Balm Can Do Several Jobs If the Order Is Right
A balm removes, masks, and seals. Water at the wrong moment wastes all three.

A balm is oil and wax with enough emulsifier to rinse. That structure is why one jar can do more than a foam. On dry skin it dissolves sunscreen and mascara. Left on, a thin layer is a mask for tightness. A trace pressed on a dry patch can seal it, even over makeup, without a second product. Cerabalm is built for that range. The jobs are real. They still have an order.
Massage it onto a dry face, including the lashes, and wait long enough for wax to soften. Then add water and rinse. If you wet the face first, you have diluted the solvent and you will rub to compensate. Rubbing is the failure, not the balm. If a fleck of mascara remains, a swab with micellar water can nudge it. A second, harder pass is the step to refuse.
The balm does not replace sunscreen, and it does not replace a treatment serum you have a real reason to use. It replaces the harsh cleanse and, on some nights, the separate sleeping mask. Used in order, it is the product you run out of first, which is the compliment.
